Kiawah Island, SC is located just 40 minutes from historic downtown Charleston, which Travel + Leisure magazine named as the #1 city in the world. Kiawah is a private island that boasts 10 miles of pristine beach, a five-star resort and five championship golf courses including the famed Ocean Course (host of the 2012 PGA Championship and the upcoming 2021 PGA Championship).
Take US 17 S towards West Ashley. In 0.3 miles, veer left onto 171 Folly Road. Take Folly Road for 0.8 miles and turn right onto SC-700 W Maybank Highway. Follow Maybank Highway for 6.4 miles. Turn left onto Bohicket Road. Continue 10.3 miles to the traffic circle. At the traffic circle, take the third exit at the Kiawah Island sign. Proceed to the Kiawah Island entrance security gate. Stop at the gate to gain entrance. Continue straight to the second Vanderhorst Security Gate. Stop and the gate and then take the an immediate right onto Governors Drive. Continue straight for about five miles. Veer right onto Ocean Course drive and follow signs to spectator or exhibitor parking.
Cars on Kiawah exhibitors will be staged on-site at Ocean Park on Saturday, May 6 between 7-9 a.m. (Please note the change from last year. There is no off-site pre-staging.) Follow the above directions to Ocean Park. At the event entrance, staff will guide you to park for the duration of the event. At the conclusion of the event, at 3 p.m., the show field will be emptied, and all vehicles must exit by 4 p.m.
Spectators will park on Kiawah next to the Ocean Park show field. Parking is $5 cash. (Please note the change from last year. You will park at Ocean Park. There is no parking next to Freshfields Village, nor are there shuttle buses). Parking will open at 9:30 a.m. and all vehicles must vacate the parking lot at the conclusion of the event, by 3:30 p.m.
