The 2018 Kiawah Island Motoring Retreat will feature a weekend of extraordinary automotive events including a Motoring Tour on Friday, April 13, a Cars on Kiawah regional car show on Saturday, April 14 and the Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, April 15. All tickets are nonrefundable.
Take a leisurely drive with other motoring enthusiasts through the scenic Johns, Wadmalaw and Kiawah islands, stopping at distinct areas of interest such as the magnificent “Angel Oak” tree, which is said to be one of the oldest trees in America, and the Firefly Distillery, known for their famous sweet-tea vodka. The enchanting live oaks that line the route make this one memorable Lowcountry experience.

Watch the sunset over the Kiawah River while savoring freshly roasted oysters, BBQ ribs, grilled steaks and smoked chicken at Kiawah’s Mingo Point, hosted by the Kiawah Island Golf Resort.

Over 200 of the region’s top club and collector cars will be on display at Kiawah’s Ocean Park to be admired by thousands of attendees. Auto sponsors will display concept cars and offer driving experiences. Food vendors will prepare a variety of dining options and drinks will provide refreshment.

From local oysters to Southern BBQ, enjoy Lowcountry favorites prepared by Charleston’s top chefs, under the stars at Kiawah’s Ocean Park. Live bands will keep toes tapping, while wine, beer and cocktails flow.
LOWCOUNTRY FEAST TICKETS: Coming Soon
A selection of 120 of the world’s most spectacular and rare automobiles, from every era, will convene at Kiawah’s Ocean Park for guests to applaud and admire. Marvel at the show field’s fine display of engineering and design and pause to engage with the car owners to learn the intriguing stories behind the procurement, and perhaps path to restoration or preservation, of their treasured automobiles. This event is for history buffs, passionate craftsmen, aesthetes, tech aficionados, and of course, automotive enthusiasts. Eleven car classes will each produce a Best in Class winner, as well as a second- and third-in-class recipient. Seasoned judges will select the ultimate award winner, Best in Show, while attendees get to cast their personal vote to determine People’s Choice. Auto sponsors will display concept cars and offer driving experiences. Food vendors will prepare a variety of dining options and drinks will provide refreshment.
CONCOURS TICKETS: Coming Soon
The Kiawah Island Motoring Retreat’s VIP Experience will add a layer of luxury and enjoyment to the weekend festivities. In addition to a two-day all-access pass for Cars on Kiawah and the Concours d’Elegance, on-site VIP parking will grant you immediate entry to the show field at Kiawah’s Ocean Park, eliminating the 20-minute shuttle ride accompanying general admission parking. A VIP tent will house a catered breakfast and lunch on Saturday, a lavish brunch on Sunday and complimentary beer and wine. A concierge will facilitate VIP driving experiences, a VIP-only Kiawah homes tour, and more personalized services. Reserved VIP seating at the stage for the awards ceremony will provide the best view of the winners. Executive restrooms and a commemorative gift round out the perks.
